Cookie Policy

ApexTrace AI doesn’t use advertising cookies, analytics trackers or anything that follows you to other websites. That’s why there’s no cookie banner.

What we store in your browser

We use your browser’s local storage, which works like a cookie, only for things the app needs to work:

• Sign-in session: keeps you signed in. Removed when you sign out.
• Your work: tracks and karts if you aren’t signed in, Race Night entries and uploaded GPS lap files, so they’re there next time.
• Preferences: light or dark mode, the sidebar, and similar settings.
• Sign-up answers: if you sign up with Google or Apple, the answers you gave are kept for up to 30 minutes until your account is created, then removed.

These are “strictly necessary”: the app can’t do what you ask without them, so the law doesn’t require consent for them.

Other services

When you pay, you go to Stripe’s checkout pages, and when you sign in with Google or Apple, you go to their pages. Those services set their own cookies there, for security and fraud prevention, under their own policies.

Clearing it

You can clear this storage any time in your browser’s settings. If you aren’t signed in, that also deletes the tracks saved in that browser. Read how we handle personal data in our Privacy Policy.
